Hi
We need a report on cultivations that selects not only one single location code, but on a range of successive codes. Could you make a choice available in the dialogue under Cultivation that accomodates this? Something like the choice "between" which is possible for Accession year...

As the location codes have a hierarchical structure, you can specify a code from an upper level and get all the locations below that level. The use of “between” is not possible this field, but other alternatives such as “In list” (see Export Accessions, Provenance field) and “Contains” (pattern matching) can be used. Do you think these are solutions that will cover your needs?

Hmmm....
If it is possible to have the options you mention added in the Cultivation reports dialogues, I guess that would do the trick...

We have solved the issue with "between" and will thus add both "between" and "in" (pick list) for the "Location code" field. The options will be available for the Accession/Cultivation reports and Advanced search (Accessions) in the next version of Iris.
